Conceiving naturally with acupuncture & herbs

At taproot, we have helped many patients get the positive pregnancy test they were hoping for.

Acupuncture can help both partners optimize fertility, regulate hormones and lift blocages.

Our fertility protocol is most effective with a minimum of 3 months of consistent treatment. Acupuncture goes to the root of things, and fertility is a slow race, no a sprint !

If you have an underlying condition, or are over 35, it may take longer, but do not despair, success is very possible.

Fertility acupuncture: who is it for?

Anyone can benefit from fertility acupuncture when trying to conceive. It is even more important to seek help from a holistic fertility specialist if:

- You are 35 years old or older

- You have been trying for a year

- You have PCOS, endometriosis, or other conditions

- You have experienced multiple pregnancy losses

- You have been diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve

- Your cycles are irregular or absent

- You just got off the pill and need a reboot

How does it work?

Acupuncture works by:

- increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs

- lowers stress levels

- balancing hormones

We recommend to all our fertility patients to commit to at least 3 months of regular acupuncture & herbs. This time before conception will allow your whole body to reach a healthier baseline and increase your chances of a healthy pregnancy. We will also offer lifestyle, supplements & nutrition insights. Your acupuncture treatment plan

Acupuncture is a cumulative medicine: the more you do, the more benefits you reap. We recommend 3 months minimum, because this is the minimum time a follicle needs to mature into a healthy egg. If you are suffering from conditions like PCOS for example, or if you are over 40 years old, it might take longer.

-An initial in depth medical review and comprehensive exam

-Weekly acupuncture (once every 2 weeks minimum)

-Daily herbs that are customized just for you

-Dietary  & supplements recommendations
